As inflation climbs to 4.4 percent in July, Cong. Wilbert “Manoy” T. Lee lauded the enactment of the Anti-Agricultural Economic Sabotage Act, a measure he principally authored. Lee stressed that cracking down on smuggling, hoarding, and price manipulation would bring much-needed relief to local food producers and Filipino consumers.
“Panahon na para masampolan ang mga smugglers at hoarders na nagpapahirap sa buhay ng ating mga kababayan,” Lee stated, urging swift implementation of the law.
